It consists of six, high resolution cameras connected to a sophisticated software program that produces razor sharp, three-dimensional images of you in real time. The results are spectacular and our patients are consistently amazed by the realism of the image! You can literally see what your breasts can look like after implants. It has dramatically changed the nature of our consultation. We are able to effectively communicate the effect of the selected implant on your breasts and able to instantly show the differences of shape and proportion of your breasts using a variety of different implants. The saying that “a picture is worth a thousand words”, is no more appropriate than when trying to relate the implant size or shape to a patient when placing an implant in a bra or some other less than ideal maneuver versus instantly showing them what their breasts can look like when a real three dimensional image is developed.
Some plastic surgeons state that using imaging programs to show potential results from breast augmentation is simply creating a “photoshop-like”, image that is a marketing gimmick and has nothing to do with a real result.
