Facial implants are positioned under the skin and muscle layers to enhance your own unique facial features, such as the cheeks, chin, and jaw. Facial implants provide better proportion to the face and can even treat “sunken in” areas and deformities caused by trauma. A facial implant may be combined to add additional improvement of other facial enhancement procedures such as face-lifts and nose reshaping.
Dr. Stephens views facial implants as a tool to rejuvenate and restructure the face to add youth and dimension. He will discuss with you the types of implants and the variety of materials that are available, and help you choose which will best meet your needs and desires. Through careful evaluation and judgement, placement of a facial implant may add improvement over a more traditional procedure.
