What Are My MOXI® Treatment Options?

How Is MOXI® Laser Treatment Performed?
Before you receive your MOXI® treatment, your provider will apply a topical numbing cream to the selected areas. The numbing cream will sit on the skin for 30 to 45 minutes before the laser treatment begins. This will help keep you more comfortable during the session.
After the numbing cream has had time to take effect, your provider will pass the MOXI® laser over the treatment area. The laser beams will target the pigmentation and texture issues by heating the areas and triggering the body’s natural healing process. Once the damaged skin is peeled away, newer skin will be revealed.
Each MOXI® treatment session takes around eight to ten minutes. If additional sessions are necessary to achieve your goals, they will be scheduled for four to five weeks after the initial session.
What Is MOXI® Recovery Like?
There is minimal downtime associated with MOXI® treatments. If your face is treated, you’ll be instructed to avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours to avoid irritating the skin. It is also essential to avoid sun exposure and wear sunscreen to protect the freshly treated skin. Other than that, many patients are able to resume their regular activities immediately after treatment.

Most patients are able to see their results around five to seven days after receiving MOXI® treatment.
