InMode BodyTyte LogoBodyTite® is FDA-approved and utilizes safe, efficient, and highly-effective tissue tightening through focused, controlled radiofrequency (RF) heat energy that melts the fat and tightens the skin. This results in significant improvement in contouring, smoothing, and toning.

BodyTite® has significantly more tissue tightening than other body contouring treatments and procedures, including SmartLipo®, Vaser®, Coolsculpting®, and traditional liposuction. Its versatility allows for effective contouring throughout the body with significant skin tightening in areas that typically will not respond to traditional liposuction combined with increased comfort and a fast recovery.

BodyTite® surpasses all other technologies in its precision and evenness of contouring.

Who Is an Ideal Candidate for BodyTite®?

BodyTite® body contouring is safe and effective for most patients. The best candidates have mild to moderate skin laxity, are in good health, and are within 30 percent of their ideal weight.

Patients with a BMI of greater than 30 to 35 may need to lose weight prior to treatment, depending on their body composition. Those with increased or severe skin laxity due to aging or excessive weight loss may not be good candidates for this procedure. Patients with chronic skin conditions or infections as well as those who are breastfeeding or have allergies to local anesthetics are not good candidates.

Areas that respond well to treatment include the upper arms, abdomen, back, love handles and hips, the outer and inner thighs, and the neck. Dr. Stephens recommends this procedure to patients who want a more contoured and slimmer figure to eliminate stubborn areas despite good diet and exercise even with less than desirable skin tone. Patients who are active can enjoy a faster recovery. It is important to keep in mind that this is not a weight-loss procedure.

Schedule a consultation with Dr. Stephens to discuss your concerns and create a customized treatment plan. Our office, conveniently located in Bellevue, WA, gladly serves the surrounding areas.

What Is the Procedure?

The BodyTite® procedure uses radiofrequency skin tightening technology, also known as RFAL™, to tighten and lift the skin while liquifying the fatty deposits. This minimally invasive method provides dramatic results with reduced downtime. BodyTite® can also enhance the effects of other more traditional approaches, such as liposuction or body lift surgery.

Tumescent fluid is injected composed of lidocaine, local anesthetic, saline (sterile saltwater), and epinephrine (a vasoconstrictor that minimizes bleeding). Tiny incisions are made at the treatment sites, and a radiofrequency transmitting electrode (RF) is inserted under the skin with the other electrode placed on the surface of the skin.

The device creates instantaneous high heat. Liquefying the fat and gently removing it from the body. In addition, the RFAL™ energy is acting on the dermis of the skin, which is heated, along with the subcutaneous-supporting-tissue-matrix. The focused heat from the RF probe tightens the skin by coagulating and changing the structure of the collagen and elastin support matrix and stimulates collagen production. This also coagulates the blood vessels, which significantly reduces bleeding and therefore bleeding, pain, and recovery.

BodyTite® is effective in the face and neck (as Facetite®), arms, abdomen, thighs, love handles, inner thighs, hips, knees, and more. It is currently being used to tighten and lift specific cases of breast ptosis.

Safety:

BodyTite® is a body contouring procedure that provides three-dimensional contraction to the skin, subdermal connective tissue matrix, and deep subcutaneous fat. It works by applying rapid, uniform, instantaneous high internal heating of the soft tissue with radiofrequency (RF)  energy.

BodyTIte ® has state-of-the-art safeguards, including real-time external skin and internal tissue temperature monitors that measure and limit temperatures through preset, impedance monitoring, power cut-offs, sending audible feedback to the surgeon, which all ensure your safety and comfort.

When used correctly, BodyTite® can safely provide noticeable skin contraction, contouring, and tightening of loose skin for consistent, rejuvenated results.

BodyTite ® can be done under local anesthesia to treat specific areas but can be done with oral and intravenous sedation for anxious patients or in treating several areas. The procedure can be utilized with light general anesthetics to treat multiple areas. Regardless, the numbing from the local tumescent anesthetic ensures a safe and comfortable procedure and an easy recovery.

How Long Is the Recovery?

Recovery is similar to but significantly faster than traditional liposuction. After your BodyTite®  treatment, your skin may feel sore and tender with mild swelling. Patients should be able to return to quiet, normal activities in a few days. Swelling should diminish in two to three weeks. Low-impact activities can be resumed within one or two weeks, and higher-impact activities should be avoided for three to six weeks. Compression garments are used to help reduce swelling and improve comfort.
